Thank you for choosing Ingenuity Charter School and welcome to the 24-25 school year!
As someone who grew up just a few blocks from our campus, I am excited to enter my second year here at Ingenuity Charter School as your Principal. Although this is only my second year here at Ingenuity, I am not a stranger to the community. I graduated from Mount Miguel High School and continued my education at San Diego State University, where I earned my Bachelors in Psychology, and then at Point Loma Nazarene for my Masters in Teaching and multiple teaching credentials. I immediately knew my career path would lead me into the classroom and to schools in the same community I grew up in. After working in education for many years as a teacher, I decided to pursue my Administrative Services Credential. That program only strengthened my passion for being an advocate for inclusive education, striving for systemic change and raising awareness about the importance of accommodating diverse student needs.
I have committed myself to fostering relationships with the students, families, and members of this community and look forward to continuing that work in this new role. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or suggestions on how I can help your students be successful.
Thank you,
