I am Katie Reamer and a teacher at Ingenuity Charter School. I was born and raised in San Diego and have been teaching for ten years. I attended SDSU where I received my BA in Applied Design, teaching credential in English, and Master of Arts in Teaching. My educational experience started as an English Teacher in Thailand and continued throughout San Diego in districts like San Diego Unified and Del Mar Union. I spent six years at O’Farrell where I had the honor of teaching AVID and art to amazing middle school scholars and artists. I just completed my first year at Ingenuity Charter School and feel so grateful to work alongside dedicated educators and inspiring students.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family and two young daughters Rose and Nya, travel, relax at the beach, practice yoga, and seek out inspiration in art and design.
